Should I stand up after headstand?

It is reasonably recommended to lie down in ‚Savasana‘ for 30 seconds or maximum 1 minute after coming out of ‚Sirsasana‘ It is not advisable to select any counter poses / seated / or standing poses immediately after ‚Sirsasana‘ posture. I humbly believe this is the classic rule and would be wise and safe to follow same to avoid any injuries.

Should I stand up after headstand?

Actually, in all classes I took with Swami Vishnu-devananda, he let us do child’s pose before and after headstand. He didn’t let us stand up…
So whenever I teach headstand, I let students do child’s pose before and after headstand. I do the same for my own daily practice. And afterwards comes shoulderstand.
